This Camelot Chess Set has been hand made in the UK by the long established British specilaist chess manuacturer, Mascot Chess.

All the pieces are characters from the court of Camelot; the legendary castle of King Arthur, slayer of dragons and defender of the green hills of ancient Britain.

In this set, King Arthur stands proud in his suit of armour, defiantly challenging the opposing King. Next to him Queen Guinevere stares menacingly ahead, adorned in medieval style clothing.

One very nice aspect of this character chess set is that the pieces really do look like they should do, often this isn't the case, but here everything is very recognisable and that makes this a very playable and enjoyable set to possess.

A finely detailed set with exquisitely crafted characters.

This beautifully detailed chess set is ideal if you have someone in the house who is learning to play chess, as the pieces can't be confused.

The bishop could only be 'The Bishop' and the knight on horseback couldn't be anyone other than 'The Knight'
It's one less thing for them to learn on the way to becoming a chess master.
